| West Kurdufan State

The state of West Kurdufan was first established in 1994 and was dissolved after the Nevasha agreement in 2005 and was integrated into the state of South Kurdufan. The state was once again re-established with its own names and administrative limits in 2013, with the capital of Al-Fawela.

West Kurdufan is located between 27-29 eastward and 14-20 north, with an area of approximately 114,000 square kilometres and bounds from the northeast northern Kurdufan, east and southeast south of Kurdufan, from the west and northeast to the northern and eastern Darfur states and south of the southern Sudan's northern Kurd province.
